Ulrich Drobnig is well known to legal scholars from all over the world as the editor in charge of the International Encyclopedia of Comparative Law and as Director emeritus of the Max Planck Institute for Foreign Private Law and Private International Law in Hamburg, Germany. Leading scholars, students and colleagues from many countries contributed to the Festschrift in honor of Ulrich Drobnig.
