In 1804, Krause began his first draft of a system with a manual for the philosophy of nature. This text, in the tradition of Schellings, has been made available again to researchers of philosophy and the history of science and has been supplemented by several shorter works. It is indispensable not only for the interpretation of Schelling‹s direct impact but also for the doctrine of nature which it describes and which is also of great importance for Krause‹s concept of the law of nature. Volume 1 is preceded by an introduction to his complete works as well as a complete bibliography of his works.
