Die Methode der thermoelektrischen Messung zur frühzeitigen Inline- Verschleißdetektion wird für Umformwerkzeuge mit Beschichtung validiert. Zur Verschleißvorhersage werden verschiedene Modelle einer Verschleißfestigkeitskennlinie (VFK) evaluiert. Mittels VFK ist es möglich, die Werkzeugstandzeit durch eine minimale Anzahl an Modellversuchen abzuschätzen.
