Im achten Teil der „Sanskrithandschriften aus den Turfanfunden“ werden 200 fragmentarische Handschriften beschrieben und im vollen Wortlaut wiedergegeben. Etwa ein Drittel der Fragmente konnte genau identifiziert werden. Sie stammen meist aus dem buddhistischen Kanon bzw. aus nichtkanonischen Abhidharma-Texten. Darunter befindet sich ein Fragment aus Devasarmas Vinanakaya, sowie mehrere Fragmente von Samghabhadras Nyayanusara. Von diesen Texten waren bisher noch keine Zeugnisse einer Sanskrit-Handschrift überliefert. 60 Handschriften konnten nur vorläufig bestimmt werden, darunter 36 aus der Textgattung „nichtkanonische Philosophie“.
