The 2025 Sugar Economy handbook provides users with all the relevant data needed for their daily work in the sugar, starch and ethanol industries. The 71st edition includes the familiar tables section, with its tried-and-tested surveys around Europe and the world, with a special focus on Germany and France. We also updated the “EU regulations” and the section covering EU trade agreements regarding sugar and the EU Commission's requirements concerning price reporting. The fifth consecutive October/September season of statistical deficit or balanced consumption/production continues to support market prices.
