P. Alfred Delp SJ wurde am 15. September 1907 in Mannheim geboren und am 2. Februar 1945 in Berlin-Plötzensee, am Fest Mariä Lichtmess, von den Nazis ermordert. Die Meditation "Veni Sancte Spiritus" zu seinem Lieblingsgebet, der Pfingstsequenz, hat Pater Delp mit gefesselten Händen, kurz vor seinem Tod geschrieben. Sein geistliches Vermächtnis gilt auch uns heute und kann hier mit Gewinn in einem Novenengebet zum Heiligen Geist betrachtet werden.
