The Missionary Benedictines were founded in Bavaria in 1884. Since that time, they have spread over the world starting from the motherhouse in St. Ottilien. Their involvement focuses on establishing connections within a worldwide Catholic Church and on bringing people peacefully together in an increasingly global world.
