Dadurch haben sich die Kenntnisse zur mehrhundertjährigen Geschichte dieses Orts stark erweitert. Offenbar sind im Lauf der Jahrhunderte im ganzen Siedlungsgebiet von Sissach immer wieder archäologische Funde zu Tage getreten.
