This publication provides an overview of the tasks, organs, activities and results of the General Settlement Fund for Victims of National Socialism, which was established in 2001 on the basis of the Washington Agreement between the USA and Austria. The goal was a comprehensive solution to open questions of compensation for victims of National Socialism for losses and damages incurred as a result of or in connection with events on the territory of the present-day Republic of Austria during the National Socialist era. The publication also documents the speeches held on the occasion of the presentation of the final report of the Claims Committee as well as on the occasion of the dissolution of the Arbitration Panel for In Rem Restitution.
