Protagonista dell’arte concettuale, Giulio Paolini (Genova, 1940) s’interroga, dagli anni Sessanta, sullo statuto dell’opera d’arte e sul suo manifestarsi nella dimensione espositiva. A Lugano, presso lo “Spazio -1 Collezione Giancarlo e Danna Olgiati”, viene riunito per la prima volta il ciclo di opere Mnemosine (Le Charmes de la Vie 1/9), 1981-90: un grande allestimento di registro teatrale che celebra la figura di Mnemosine, dea della Memoria e madre delle nove Muse.
