This volume contains the main documents concerning Martin Heidegger‹s Marburg conflict with F. W. J. Schelling. The proceedings of a seminar which Heidegger held on Schelling‹s ‹Philosophical Inquiries into the Essence of Human Freedom‹ in the winter semester of 1927/28 were written by his Marburg students Walter Bröcker, Gerhard Krüger, Käte Oltmanns, Hans Jonas and others. This record of the proceedings has become accessible to researchers for the first time. Apart from a detailed bibliography on Heidegger‹s dispute with Schelling, this work also contains the lectures held in 2006 at the International Schelling Conference in Freiburg im Breisgau (»Schelling-Heidegger«).
