The fifth volume of the series “Recht im Kontext” provides a contextual analysis of human dignity, exploring the concept’s legal and political implications. The book is the outcome of two conferences held at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin (Institute for Advanced Study, Berlin), prompting debate among scholars from various disciplinary and regional backgrounds and creating a discursive space to analyze and reassess the advantages and disadvantages of human dignity in judicial interpretation and academic reflection.
