Mit Urteilskompetenz ist das Ziel verbunden, Lernende zu einer mündigen Auseinandersetzung mit ihrer Lebenswelt und zur gesellschaftlichen Partizipation zu befähigen. Doch wann ist jemand »urteilsfähig« und was wird geprüft und bewertet, wenn in Prüfungssituationen Urteilsfähigkeit gefordert wird? Die Studie analysiert schriftliche Abituraufgabenstellungen und die dazugehörigen Erwartungshorizonte aus den Bundesländern Bayern, Niedersachen und Thüringen. Sie greift damit einen hochaktuellen Diskurs über Vergleichbarkeit und Transparenz in der Bewertung komplexer Leistungen auf, der von fachübergreifendem Interesse ist. Resümierend werden konkrete Vorschläge formuliert, die sowohl für die Weiterentwicklung bildungsadministrativer Vorgaben als auch für die unterrichtliche Praxis zentral sind. But when can speak of somebody as being able to apply a differentiated sense of judgement, and what is being tested and evaluated when it is required to show judgment ability in exam situations? This study analyses written Abitur examinations and the corresponding expectations in the German states of Bavaria, Lower Saxony, and Thuringia. It thus takes up a highly topical discourse on comparability and transparency in the assessment of complex educational performance, which is of interdisciplinary interest. Final the presented study formulates concrete suggestions which are central for both, the further development of educational administrative guidelines as well as for teaching practice.
