The “Proceedings of the European Academic Colloquium on Technical Communication” are a European scientific journal for technical communication. They are released every year and are published on the internet and as print on demand. They publish project reports, educational articles, empirical results of research, and scientific discussions on all the topics related to technical communication. The fifth "European Academic Colloquium on Technical Communication" was held at the University of Leuven, Campus Sint-Andries in Antwerp, Belgium, on April 28, 2017. A specific topic of interest this year was "Content Strategy". Contributions were chosen that take a research perspective on how to create and maintain content that is smart, useful and usable.
