In der Arbeit werden die Kosten der Handhabungstechnologien in ein lineares Optimierungsmodell zur Technologie-, Standort- und Kapazitätsbestimmung eingefügt. Mit dem Modell wird das Produktionsnetzwerk eines Referenzunternehmens optimiert und es wird möglich, das Verpacken und Verflüssigen von Bitumen in unterschiedlichen Verfahrensketten optimal einzusetzen.
