Der Religionsunterricht in Sachsen-Anhalt hat es aufgrund einer Reihe von strukturellen Herausforderungen nicht leicht. Umso wichtiger ist es, die Beteiligten selbst zu befragen, um so Innenperspektiven dieses Faches hervortreten lassen zu können. Nachdem es 2008 eine erste Befragung von Schülerinnen und Schülern im evangelischen Religionsunterricht gab, erfolgte 2019 eine Replikation. Zugleich wurden zum ersten Mal in Sachsen-Anhalt die Religionslehrkräfte befragt. In diesem Buch werden die Ergebnisse ausführlich vorgestellt und interpretiert.
