The periodical "Mitteilungen zur Spätantiken Archäologie und Byzantinischen Kunstgeschichte" is designed to provide the field of archaeology and early art history and byzantine art history with new scholarly contributions covering various aspects. The range of time, region and methods is broad in order to encourage a diversity of ideas.
