Low power CMOS UWB impulse radio transceiver front-end for wireless body area networks
Abstract This thesis is specifically focused on CMOS UWB-IR transceiver design with the narrow band interference suppression abilities. The transmitter generates the pseudo random pattern of UWB impulses in on/off keying modulated data pattern. The UWB impulse generator is based on wide band pulse combination of delayed outputs of multiple pulse shapers to achieve chirp UWB impulse signal of flat spectrum.
