This new book, Excellent Lean Production, offers another standard reference; this time for the order fulfillment process, commonly known as the value stream. Based around the EFQM framework, the book provides a comprehensive set of methods and tools, which enable managers and engineers to implement a holistic production system, incorporating strong links to product development and other Support processes. The implementation Guidelines are concise but highly practical providing a unique level of detail.
