From the point of view of library practice, the Practical Handbook on Library Management offers an up-to-date assessment of the current situation and an overview of all aspects of the management of academic libraries in Germany. Special emphasis is placed on the presentation of current developments, taking into account the international context. On selected topics, their classification in terms of science policy is also dealt with.
