Sir Davey Jones
The Rainbow Bridge On this side of the sky there is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When a beloved animal dies, it goes to this Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special friends to play and romp together. There is plenty of food and sunshine to make our animals feel comfortable and happy. All the animals that were old and sick are young and healthy again. The animals that were physically impaired are strong and perfect again. Just like we remember them from times gone by in our dreams. The animals are happy and content, but with one exception: they all miss someone special to them, someone they had to leave behind. They spend their time together, but one day an animal will suddenly stop and look into the distance. His clear gaze is full of determination, his expectant body trembles. Suddenly the animal separates from the group, flying over the grass and its legs carrying it faster and faster ... You have been spotted and when you are finally reunited with your special friend, you will lie in each other‘s arms, full of the joy of reunion, never to be separated again. Kisses of happiness cover your face, your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the faithful eyes of your pet, which has waited so long outside of your life and yet never left your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together. Author of the English original: Paul C. Dahm - The Rainbow Bridge
