This textbook deals with the entirety of social insurance law and Book II of the German Social Code (SGB II). After an introduction to the main issues of social insurance and international social insurance law, it presents the individual branches of insurance law as well as SGB II (with references to the neighboring areas of law). The textbook contains numerous examples and brief case studies that facilitate understanding of the material.
