Zum Sommersemester 2011 richtete die Kunststiftung NRW die Thomas-Kling-Poetikdozentur an der Universität Bonn zu Ehren des 2005 verstorbenen Lyrikers und Essayisten ein, der zehn Jahre lang auf der Raketenstation der Stiftung Insel Hombroich im Rheinland gelebt hat. Der Band "Von Sprache sprechen" versammelt die Antrittsvorlesungen der ersten drei Poetikdozenten Stefan Weidner, Barbara Köhler und Oswald Egger. Ergänzt werden die Vorlesungen durch Beiträge von Thomas Fechner-Smarsly, Sabine Mainberger, Kerstin Stüssel und einen Essay zu Thomas Kling von Hubert Winkels.
