Alljährlich beginnen am Dreinageltag, dem zweiten Freitag nach Ostern, tausende mehr oder weniger religiös motivierte Teilnehmer nach einer Mitternachtsmesse am Magdalensberg eine beschwerliche, rund 50 Kilometer lange Fußwanderung, die nach ca. 16 Stunden am Lorenziberg hoch über der Stadt St. Veit endet.
