Der Prozess des Laserstrahlwendelbohrens ermöglicht einen hochpräzisen Abtrag bei vollständig kontrollierbarer Bohrungsgeometrie. Zur Erhöhung der Prozessfähigkeit wird eine Prozessoptimierung mittels der Taguchi Robustheitsanalyse angewendet sowie die Systemstabilität der elastischen Rotationshalterung des Dove-Prismas gesteigert. Das kumulierte Optimierungsergebnis zeigt eine Steigerung der tatsächlichen Prozessfähigkeit um einen Faktor von 9.
