The book that Iulian Moga proposes to the reader is part of a thematic area that the author has approached for several years, in his capacity as teacher of Judaic Studies in the framework of the “Dr. Alexander Safran” Centre for Jewish History and Judaic Studies”, at the Faculty of History within “Al. I. Cuza” University Iaşi. The original work focuses on the issue of defining the relationships between Jews, pagans and Christians of the Greco-Roman world in the first six centuries. It is addressed not only to students of Classics and Ancient History, but also to a larger public, less initiated in the very sensitive issues related to ancient Judaism
