This conference proceedings volume contains papers from the international joint conference “Enhanced Material and Part Optimization and Process Intensification” (EMPOrIA 2026, 2–3 June 2026 in Aachen). The conference was organized by SFB 1120 Aachen (Precision Melt Engineering) and SFB 814 Erlangen (Additive Manufacturing). Many of the results published in this volume were funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft e.V. (DFG, German Research Foundation).
