With the death of the testator it is not yet conclusively determined whether the intended beneficiary will remain the heir. Furthermore, not all of the deceased’s estate simply devolves to the heirs; bequests of digital assets are now contested in particular. This commentary pays particular attention to the uncertainties arising from the states of limbo and abeyance above while offering possible solutions.
